We came home yesterday to a glimpse of grass. They must've been hard at work while we were out. I'm feeling the overwhelming sense of spring. I think it's here. We're running out of fire fuel. It better be. It was so nice out today that while driving with the windows down we began to think about all the grilling we'll do outdoors and after an unsatisfactory display the past few months by local grocers, where could we go to get better quality meats. Some would call it a coincidence that when we got home and were unloading the car that a van pulled into our driveway and out popped a man selling his meats door to door. And what better way to welcome in the season of blooming flowers and warm weather than to buy six boxes of top choice chicken cuts!
We got italian, southwest, honey mustard, lemon pepper, some blank slates and a case of patties to do with as we please. That'll last us a couple months. We would've bought more if we hadn't dropped a chunk of change on cat fixing and family passports just hours earlier. Plus it's probably a good idea to take these puppies for a test drive. Maybe tonight. Maybe yes.
