Goodbye Falcons, Hello Razorbacks

I haven't mentioned anything about sports in awhile but I felt the urge to comment on the Bobby Petrino controversy today, since I did live in Atlanta for 5 years and probably spent more time in the Georgia Dome than he did.

That said... I don't blame Petrino one iota for bailing on the Falcons yesterday. This man is sitting here watching these idiot players wear "Free Mike Vick" t-shirts under their jerseys, and how dare they stamp their eye black with MV 7 Monday nite. That is stuff of respect and remembrance like NFL players were doing for Sean Taylor a couple weeks back, not for tree-smoking dog murderers. That's the most disrespectful thing I've seen in a long time. How embarassing.
These Falcons players are, in short, morons. Your boy Vick ain't coming back, and if you don't stand up and learn how to play football without your big brother there to keep the big bullies away you can count on losing 13 games. I'm surprised Petrino lasted this long.

And today DeAngelo Hall, the man who has been ridiculing Petrino's coaching style all season, makes a statement condemning Petrino, saying he's not a team player (OK Hall who single handedly lost that game against the Panthers thru penalties because he couldn't keep his prideful mouth shut) and that Petrino lied to team owner Arthur Blank (pretty sure your hero Vick did the exact same thing, only about murder). The irony.

Good for you Bobby Petrino. I'm happy for you too.

phew

Ok, that's all.
