An "Experience" Camp

An experience indeed. But as opposed to the previous few years, this was actually a fairly positive experience. Good kids, some actual talent, a few duds, and some Caballero alumni. Who could go wrong? We attempted to recreate the brilliance of Fiona Apple's "Fast As You Can" from years back, with less than stellar results, but sometimes with these camps it's just about survival. Ours not theirs.

And survive we did, with the help of two of our brandy newest staff members, fresh from the performance field; Brian Forte & Eric Babula. I am more than ecstatic to have these guys on the team since they're probably two of my favorite members since I started teaching way back in 2000. I feel they are a perfect fit, just what we needed.

This is them:

Obviously it wasn't all work. We managed to fit in some bar time (those Carney's Point pubs are a real hotspot) and work on our pool table skills creating a four-man simultaneous attack style of 8-ball.

And gosh darn it, wouldn't ya know, we were able to get our hands on a Photo Hunt machine and you know we topped our scores from last year, getting more creative with our codenames, we are Kickout & Pygmalion.

Just wait til we have Michelle next weekend. She's a real eagle-eye.

As for us: We are off to Georgia in the morning. Actually in 2 hours. I just finished packing and have decided trying to sleep at this point is futile. Besides, sleeping on the plane is magical, like instant transportation. Heading down to Georgia for the Krupp family Christmas celebration. Very excited to see everyone and take a family photo (don't worry it'll be up on here soon)...

...along with literally a TON of photos from this past week when we took Matt & Christina into the New York City. The mission was to see as much of NYC as we could in just two short days and Oh Boy! did we walk those streets til our feet bled. I'm gonna have to figure a way to post the photos accordingly so we can all get the full experience. Maybe one a day for the next few years.

Let's start now with a little teaser:
