Easter Eve isn't exactly on any calendars but I think it gave Christmas Eve a run for its money last night. I know, blasphemy right? But I just said gave it a run for its money, not won the race. Get on with it.
The night began with a delicious dinner of Italian chicken over multigrain pasta and fried pumpkin eggplant, all covered with a special sauce that I've been concocting and have pretty near perfection. After dinner we got right to the deed and busted out some eggs I hard boiled before dinner, slapped some bunny ears on the girl and it was on...
All of us took different approaches to dying the eggs, some with pinpoint precision, some with a gentle nurturing touch and others with guerrilla style attack tactics. They all work so it was all good.
The 2011 lineup.
Over the course of an hour and the consumption of a monstrous eight inch coconut cream egg we had completed the task and moved onto decorating some bunny cookies Eric brought.
Can you match the bunny to its maker?
We're not sure they're actually edible.
We were ready for tomorrow so we played for the remainder of the evening until we got too tired to hold our ears up anymore.
