Merriweather Post Pavilion is an instant classic. An upbeat sonic dancefest, a tribal rave of digitized psychedelics. I finally have an Animal Collective album that I can introduce to friends and take home to meet Mom & Dad.
The live performances don't really do the album justice, and will probably do nothing but freak you out, but I'll put them up so there's more ammunition towards your arguments that I listen to terrible music.
