Time For Tents & Traps

Laura starts her vacation today!!! A whole week on the lamb and we gots plans. Well we had plans, but those plans are changing. Ever-changing. Right now the plan I guess is to sleep in. Then we have work to do. Laundry, dishes, mopping, sweeping, mowing (yes still), weeding, power washing, there's no food in the house so i guess grocery shopping. The list doesn't end. But that's what happens when the house is left empty for two months.

Hopefully we'll get these things done and can enjoy a few days of rest before the weekend comes. Busy weekend too. Tyler & Melissa tying the knot. We got brunches, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, airport pickups, gambling, suit fittings, and golf outings. That's right, I'm hitting the green. Better duck. Not that I'm gonna hit a ball anywhere, but more likely to mow you down with the golf cart. I need to get some appropriate golf wear, or at least a scally cap.

Anyhow, hopefully somewhere in there we'll find time for some fairs that are in town this week. Gotta love those crazy fair rides where the dude leaves you on some tilt-a-whirly-gig-a-flips-a-doodle for like 20 minutes while he takes an ice cream break. It's like a death trap, but a fun death trap with funnel cake. That and we'd like to get back to nature and take the new tent for a test drive somewhere on the Appalachian. Lots to do, and little time, so why am I still sitting here typing?

Oh.... she's still asleep.
