Ángels & Demons

It's official. Mets fans are in hell. I haven't watched a game in quite a few weeks and I knew the season wasn't going smoothly but I had no idea it was becoming the tragedy it is. And with them currently 10.5 back in the east and even 7.5 back in the wild card, behind 8 other teams no less, this season ending on an upnote seems highly unlikely. At this point all we can hope for is that no one else gets hurt.

But who knows. Maybe management has some tricks up their sleeves. Maybe they got some secret bidding going on for Halladay, or whoever else is out there. Lord knows everyone's making great trades lately, except for the Mets. I thought Francoeur was gonna be great but he's been mediocre and after that embarrassing play at homeplate last night where he was out by ten feet and couldn't even channel his inner football star we always hear about to knock over the midget Pudge Rodriguez, kinda lame. And then what is up with the Ángel Berroa guy. I feel like everytime the ball is hit to him they should play the Benny Hill theme song. Just ridiculous.

If anything good comes out of this maybe we can get cheap tickets for a game in September. That is if we even wanna see them play.
