If there was an award for the worst wedding footage ever shot, I would win.

Visitors Beware
Yuula can really run 'em ragged. She is dripping every last ounce of energy from Grandma, I think they may be looking forward to the rest they're gonna get on that 15 hour drive tomorrow. Dave and Kevin are on their way back from Maine, with a show dog named Mugsy. That is true. I have no idea what is going on. But Yuula is not going to bed, and with how hard she's been going this week I think I'll have til at least 9am tomorrow morning to get a little peace and quiet. But then again, I know better than that don't I?

Hump Dump
I don't know what's going on. I think it's Wednesday. At some point I will be the only one in the house. I have some photos to show you from the past few days. From Isabella's party and some work in the yard. Take them in, if you wish. They won't be there forever.

Lending Hands Accordingly
Yesterday was my second favorite day of the year, after Christmas. It will be known as "Unloading Of The Spring/Summer Furniture and Decorative Elements for the Gardens and Yard" day. Long, but it paints the picture. the yard took on a bit of a transformation, and Laura got busy planting more vegetables as I dove in head first to the island garden along the left side of the house. The Krupps are up so they lended hands accordingly.
Yuula got involved with the watering efforts and we had a nice dinner of burgers and "weird" hot dogs. Topped it off with Maryann's just 10 minutes before they closed for the night. Let's do it again.

More From Georgia
No we haven't unpacked our suitcases, the cupboard is bare and the fridge is barren. This is the longest we've ever taken to re-acclimate. But we do have a healthy supply of banana chips.
More from Georgia:

homemade water park
sticker knees is the new black
Hey Uncle
cookies on the stage

Déjà vu

Bi-Annual Family Photo Fiasco
Figuring out which color scheme was assigned was the least of the trouble. Somehow this experience always incites, degrades and ultimately exhausts us all. Maybe that's why we only do it ever couple of years. It may be longer this time.
We'll show you the final products when I get my hands on them.

The Due Ultimatum
Hey.
I haven't done anything today. When Laura left for work Yuula rolled into my arms and fell asleep before I could set on the couch. I watched The Bourne Ultimatum (still good), The Due Date and a little History Channel. I started flipping thru the photos from the past week to find a good story. I found this one.
Laura's mother has been asking for some portraits of Yuula since the day she was born. Pegboard material. We haven't been ignoring the request, just more shopping around for fitting photographers. Upon visiting this week Cheryl decided she'd waited long enough and demanded to child brought to the nearest professional for a session. We obliged. It was a due ultimatum.
Here's some proofs.

We ordered a couple. They're in the mail. It boggles my mind that in this day and age the photographers still function the way they do, but they do.

Blog Done Good
One day a little old woman walked into a thrift store and found a curious book for sale. It looked like someones baby book, and she thought to herself "How darling! I must have this". She brought the book home, along with a new silver tea spoon and some lace doilies she bought, and decided to flip thru and read a few pages and came across the name Ruth. Ruth was quite obviously the mother of whoevers baby book this was, so the little old woman thought she might get on her new computer her grandsom bought her for her 82nd birthday and see if she can't "google" this woman and find out how this treasure made it all the way down south into her hands from Genoa Ohio. Sure enough she came upon a online blog that had posted an attractive photo of a young Ruth Norma Sheldon. She reached out to the blog's author and finally got in touch where she told her story and eventually sent this scan as proof.

Apparently Cheryl had brought some things down from her mom's house in Ohio and gave it over to Theresa & Bubba to sift thru and bring to a goodwill that Bubba works at. The baby book slipped thru the cracks, but luckily fell right into the hands of a curious private eye who tracked down the owner and as we speak is making arrangements to return the book.
And all because of this blog. Good job blog. We don't tell you that enough.

We Are The Lambing Season
We've been published!!Much to our surprise Laura's Mom submitted one of our wedding photos to Country magazine and a year later, they published it. On the bottom right hand corner, see it? No, I don't know who that horse girl is either. Celebrating the coming of spring, its budding rhubarb, and the subsequent act of taking a knife to that very rhubarb. I am a fan of the stuff. We were also informed that as an ancillary award we will receive a dinner bell with our names emblazoned on the side. I have a feeling that "dinner" bell will soon be renamed the "breakfast/lunch/dinner/dessert/snack/wake up/come here/rub my feet/get away from me/do the laundry" bell. Just a prediction.
I highly recommend that you click on the photo for the full size so you can read the article and our caption especially.
So everyone run out to your local magazine retailer and pick up the February/March edition of Country magazine. And if you can't find it don't bother trying to call the number found on the website because they will just transfer you to someone else who speaks broken English and has absolutely no idea how magazine sales work. Five times.
