A Polar Express Of Our Own
New Hope at Christmas time. This is about the extent of it.
But we did book passage on the glorious Ivyland Rail for a Polar Express of our very own.
Yuula, Laura, Aesop & Dylan, all aboard
Cousin love

Ⓜ
Camping fools. We used to come here a lot when I was a kid. I didn't recall, until we pulled up.
Surprise Dani!
Estlers took over the pool
I took over the hot tub
This was the beginning of what became a no holds barred, all bets off, no rules observed round of mini golf
Grandparents are weird
Then s'mores
Yuula didn't know how to make it work
So we stuck marshmallows all over her face instead
The last morning was quiet
We took the waterbaby down to the pool
Aesop LOVES watermelon
chillin' with Grandpa

The Pretzels Were Larger Than The Dragon Was Green
ahh old friend, it's been too long
I see you've brought your fine produce
we have brought our lil' Bo Peep
you have fine jewels for purchase
we will indulge in your spectacles
the bakery goods have always been top notch
as authentic a faculty can get
the pretzels have doubled in size
but the toys have evolved
she bought the whole tray
not a good turnout for the auction
this was our lunch
the kids didn't make it
brothers with babies
just try and stop her
we felt how they look
Let's not make it another 5 years before we go back. It's too much to catch up with!

Homily In The Family
Today was Dylan's communion at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church. My Dad was in charge of videotaping, Mom & Dani in charge of fruit-y refreshment, Laura in charge of infant control and I was in charge of trying to dress myself in a respectable manor. Results were hot and cold.
Baptism is exhausting.
Nice to visit with Uncle Ted & Aunt Carol who are about to embark on a European trip of Herculean proportion, and Aunt Chris, Cousin Dane, Baby Dane & Lindsey. It doesn't happen often enough.

Walnuts On The Wall Is Nuts
At Mom & Dad's tonight, AKA Grandma & Grandpa Estler's, in prep for Dylan's big day tomorrow. The cousins got together and swapped toys and pawed at each others faces. So far they get along swimmingly. And that's without a pool.

Had some cookout burgers indoors due to inclement weather, and after a long stressful day on our side of the world, a couple beers sprinkled the evening, followed by Mom & Dad's traditional magaritas.

The girls cut up some melons for the coming festivities and Yuula gave a reenactment of herself watching So You Think You Can Dance this past week. The video will be up in the next few days. Keep an eye out.

For now we are sleepy.

Keep Your Lockout
Watching Dylan play Madden on Wii is remarkably similar to the real thing. And now I'm being beaten with swords that are remarkably similar to the real thing.

She's The Jinx All Along
Good game Sunday. The team we wanted to win did. Figured out the secret weapon. Laura is a jinx. Whatever team she roots for loses. So she was Steelers all the way. Big development of the night is I didn't stuff myself full of nasty food that would make me feel like puking all the way home. I did polish off the chipotle Doritos but, it's the end of the season. I probably won't see another bag of those til baseball opening day. Oh dreaded opening day.
Grandma & Grandpa were in Heaven, wrestling over who would hold who when. They each got their required monthly amount of hold time, but I know we need to make plans for a full day of baby exposure.
