Clothes Not Even Close

Mommy went thru some of her clothes from highschool. Not even close. But they can be dresses for Yuula. She's stoked. Yuula that is. Not Laura. She's bummed.

Cross-Eyed Curl

We do not live in a large home, but sometimes things go on at the opposite end of wherever I am, and I am none the wiser. Sometimes they're nice surprises, sometimes they are not so nice. This was one of my favorite yet.

Ooh she's gonna break a lot of hearts

x D*Face Earlap Jacquard Oatmeal

This here is a nice hat that I would love to add to my collection. The only problem is, it is just too damn fancy! That lining, that design motif, those metal pins, that pompom! It would cause my other beanies to be just ashamed of themselves, and rightfully so. So I think I'm gonna pass for that reason alone. That and because it's $70.

Rhubarbian Consequence

P1280061

On the Krupp farm it's "kill or be killed". It's also "ask and ye shall receive", so when Laura asked for some rhubarb to take home we were not disappointed. Good thing we have a van now.

Rhubarb is surprisingly easy to harvest.

Madison gave moral support.

P1280075

This is the mandatory rhubarb pickin' hat and knife set.

Laura already made one pie, and it was her best yet.

We got plenty more. Who's coming for dinner?
