A Frigin Pancake Printer!
Budd asked me to help out at Uconn. Free hotel accommodations for the wife and kids for a few hours of huck 'n' chuck? Sure why not.
Plus, look how much Budd loves being woken up by children.
The hotel had a pancake printer! A Frigin Pancake Printer!!!
The whole purpose was so they could swim in the winter.
And they swam.
Yuula's getting good.
I even managed to sneak in for a dip.

Who Wants A Circle?
On New Years I woke up with motivation and hope and a hankering for some personalized pancakes for our guests.
The man himself
The boy has just begun the saxophone, so I make the boy a saxophone.
How ladylike of Erin to request a heart.
Yuula kept with her staples; star and unicorn. What? That's a unicorn.
This was Dylan's who chose not to pose with his pancake. Probably a smart idea.

The Syrup Is Still As Sweet
One of the only holidays we aggressively observe is National Pancake Day. And look why. But the night we had our yearly celebration, not only did we notice that we missed the mark by one day (thanks Martha Stewart) but we may have missed it by a few months altogether. We really have to get our act together before we miss French Toast Observation Day.

She Making Romance Happen
Laura, my wife, surprised me with a love day last week. That is a day of love. And not child love. Husband/wife love. No kids. We left them at home with the dog. We had a lovely day. It really couldn't have been better. Do it again.
We celebrated 8 years since I asked her for her.
