Teenage Angst Has Paid Off Well
Nirvana's In Utero, one of the first records I recall blowing my mind, has been re-issued today. So I listened to it, and I was 15 again, and I did air guitar. Don't judge me. Yuula helped. Judge her.
songs of the day
We all know the "hits", but...
best album-opening chord... ever
I hear this song at least once a month for about 20 years
why not?

Morning Ameliorate
This morning is about recuperating. We all got home pretty late. We got to the Trunks around 11:30 to pick up Yuula but you know that it wasn't an in/out job. The girls yipped and yapped for about 90 minutes before waking Isabella and causing a general ruckus. We got in bed probably a little after 2am and set alarms for 4:30am. Good thing when I woke up at 6:30am was when Laura realized she didn't even need to be in til 9. And that's when Yuula decided to wake up as well. No rest for the wonky.
At least I got my concert vinyl for breakfast.

Bonds Booers Begone: 752 & 753!!!
...in one game! Guess all he needed was some good rest. Good for him. Sick of hearing all the negativity towards Barry. He's always been one of the best players, we knew he would break this record back in the 90's. And if people were really so disgusted they wouldn't be clamouring over these homerun balls in the street & in the stands with their camera phones armed at every Bonds at bat to capture the moment, and the MLB wouldn't be holding up the game to switch to those commemorative balls their using to mark the occasion. Good for you Barry Bonds! I can't wait for you to beat this record. I'll be cheering from my couch.
