Won 2 Against One

Today was the first day I feel that I functioned normally and cut off every complication in its inception, and I even had a little energy left at the end of the day to fully wear the girl out. A little energy.

 Only for a brief moment did I feel outnumbered, but then I worked my swaddle magic and assuaged the princess and all was right in the land.

 This is how it feels.

No Sheets, Because He Puked

Well, that's two days down, just me and the demon spawn. That would be plural, two demon spawn. We knew it would be an adjustment, emotional for Laura, habitual for me. And momma didn't do me any favors by holding this boy 24/7 since the day he was born. Now if doesn't have flesh touching his flesh he summons all sorts of hells. He's cuddle or nothing.

I must say, day two was vastly superior to day one. He napped like a pro and only threw one tantrum while I was cooking dinner. Maybe he was just pissed that he wasn't going to get any of my perogies.

Tomorrow I get a break....

None More, Mr. Mom

My tenure as Mr. Mom is ending today, and just when I figured out how long it took to heat a bottle without scalding myself or melting the nipple. This information will not be useful to me any longer. We'll be back to tag-teaming it, seven days a week.

In other news, I love these songs today. New favorites. College football has been lame today so I got my musics on.

Tomorrow starts the buckling down. We've got a list this long and not much time for checking off. I think we're going grocery shopping before the sun comes up. Only way to beat the daywalkers.
