Past Sunday, after KILLING it at the Columbus flea market, we had a cookout at Tyler's to celebrate his new deck. It didn't collpase under our weight so, good job ol' boy.
Curtis, Eliot & Erica showed up for dinner on Sunday
Yuula got first choice of what to view
we are all fans of fire and smores
Katie showed up late but we had one waiting for her
heading back to the big screen, we started off with a little Louie
and after a brief stab and streaming the new Batman but unsatisfied with the quality we settled in on The Big Lebowski, and then we all fell asleep in the yard
The Trunks came over for dinner last night and Isabella brought Yuula a gift.
She handed it to her so sweetly and as a return gesture Yuula threw it on the floor. What a sweetheart!
Laura somehow managed to whip up a monster meal last night including burgers, homemade fries, deviled eggs, beer battered brats, pasta salad, and cheery pie. I was full before I finished one course. And the rain just missed us. Come on up. We will do one for you.
The girls had a great time with beads and trampolines and slides and flashing each other. Apparently they're both embracing the shirtless look for this summer. It's too soon to be concerned.
Rainy day out today but we have plans to keep us busy.
I love the days when Laura comes home from work and without saying hello makes a beeline to the back deck, raw meat in tow, and begins to grill, feverishly, as if she's been salivating all day long awaiting the fleshy taste of animal on her lips.
Yesterday was one of those days, and I must admit, I wasn't all that surprised to see that she was cooking seven pork steaks. Yup. Seven pork steaks for two people, and one baby. But the reality is that we will probably only eat two or three of them tonight. The other four are for her to carry around in her pockets for the next couple days and gnaw on at her leisure. My wife is a carnosaur.
