Belly, Ear & Eye Full
Oh boy! Busy day. Lots packed into a quick outing onto the downtown arena. The girls wanted to get fabrics and yarn for their respective arts & crafts projects. A steady jaunt motivated by a heavy tailwind down main street dropped us in front of the Sweet Creams Cafe. There should've been danger signs. We entered and took seats around a center table.
Yuula insisted on being held the whole time, which is how she got chocolate on her sleeve. Laura & Danielle each had brownie sundaes, Laura with vanilla Danielle with Grasshopper (eww gross) and I had the sinful concoction of a sugar cookie ice cream filled croissant drizzled with caramel, whipped cream and a cherry. It was far and away the most delicious dessert I've ever had.

We went by the record shop and bought a Guess Who vinyl, the antique shop and bought nothing yet tried out some rocking chairs and were thoroughly annoyed with the automated spoken word crosswalks along the way.
Saffron chicken, with cilantro this time, for dinner and some funny and not so funny TV sitcoms will see the night thru. It looks like the 3 girls are already settling in. Good visit with Aunt Danielle. Counting down to the next one. Might be sooner than later.

Last Night Made Girls Sleepy
The subtle scent of last evening dining still lingered as I brewed my morning teas. I think I woke Danielle up with the gentle wail of the kettle. Poor placement for a guest bedroom I suppose. She's back to bed, as are the other two girls still. I think I have some time to recap last evening...

Girl talk over sizzling turkey & spicy sausage

Yuula learns to make an authentic Italian gravy at a very young age

Laura, ignoring all predisposition, has a difficult time choosing the evenings liquid accompaniment

It was that good

Yuula will forever associate her Aunt Danielle with garlic breath
The evening ended with us flipping thru some stand-up from Gaffigan & Galikianakis on the Google TV (that's a lot of G's) and passing out at an all too early hour. Today the plan includes french toast, fabric & falafel. We're moving backwards thru the alphabet.
