Welcome Home Puke
I'm home for the first time in three days and Laura leaves me with sick kids...
Gross Aesop.
He barely has the energy to break stuff.
Still manages to be cute.

Needing Sleep Sums It Up
This is Yuula's second of three naps she took today. Pretty much sums up how we all feel. But we adults are back to work and can only "aww" at the lucky one. The trip to Georgia was plentiful and joyous. We drove back early Monday morning, awakened at 2am by a vomiting Yuula who couldn't keep down a niblet of a saltine. Not good for 14 hour commutes. We braved the cold at 4am and puttered home thru the western mountain landscape that seemed to be stuck in a perpetual pre-election state. No puke and lots of tunes later we arrived at a chilly home and the world resumes.
Details to come...

September Is A Struggle
Man today was a bitch. Wrestling with stacks of dishes and computative administrators and the TV wouldn't play Caillou or Mickey and Yuula displayed her disapproval...
...but all is well now, and most is resolved. Just a day where little compounds to enormity and I think "it's a weekend, we should be relaxin'". So after dinner Yuula and I watched the end of Empire Strikes Back/beginning of Return of the Jedi. Proud to say she was riveted. And then she stickered me.
By the end of the night she was in a great mood. So good that the normal bedtime process became and clinic on how high can a 2 year old jump on a mattress and while drinking a bottle of slightly warmed milk. I'll tell ya how high. Puke high. She puked on our bed, smiled, and then continued to jump in it. From my chair in the corner of a puke free zone what could I do but act angry and laugh with partial disgust.
At the peak (pun intended) of her bouncing barrage I asked if she'd like to go nite-nite. She did a dive roll off our bed and pinballed her way thru the bathroom before I could rise from my seat.
Tomorrow will be better.

Puke And Tickle
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. To be honest we were beginning to feel robbed of the full experience. Sure we've had a few episodes, dribbles really letting us know the tank is full, but tonight was the best it's been. Came out the nose and everything. She seemed to kind of enjoy it. Laura's pajamas did not.
