She Likes Pepperoni And Ariana Grande

We had a little friend over tonight, Aubrey from dance class. Apparently this is Aubrey's first time away from home overnight so, we're on the clock.

First things first, stock up on junk food and wear them down a little by filling their carts full of soup cans

Now we see why Yuula likes her

They made us all pineapple and pepperoni pizza for dinner...

well, the ones that made it to the oven were delicious

Ending the night with a Frozen marathon with personal buckets of popcorn ain't a bad way to end the day, when you're 3 or 35

I made Mickey Mouse pancakes in the morning, of which they ate the equivalent of his ear, but me? I killed that mouse. A couple times over.

Aubrey cried when her mother came to get her, so I guess that's a good sign, right? Tears?

Winter Cleaning Warm

So we've been hit. Not as bad as most I think, but enough to make us glad to not have to leave the house. Then we realized we needed to leave the house. Chicken and fruit, that sort of need, since Laura was just moving onto her five-meals-a-day phase, Lord help us if we ain't got meat on hand.

And since we tidied up the boy's room, we felt Yuula's quarters could use a little freshening up as well. Much more open, better floorplan, plus we wrestled that dollhouse up the stairs and now, she's obsessed. Laura said she set the table in the kitchen and then just stared at it. Good for her. Now do it for real.

I hope she goes to bed tonight.

Then Yuula got some swaddling lessons. She's already better at it than I am. Oh well. Just one more thing I can delegate.

Susie's Stash

So today didn't turn out exactly as we thought, but we got almost everything done. Susie to the mall, to her doctor, visit Eileen, Susie to the pharmacy, Laura to her doctor, Laura to the pharmacy, dinner and a movie. And along the way we took Susie grocery shopping, which is where we caught this doozy...

That right there is 14 pints of ice cream. And I believe this is just for now til New Year's.

And a chocolate bar.

Someday.

A Mess At/Of Errands

We had a couple of errands to run today. And for some reason it was a disaster.

A place to lie down in public is imperative in these final stages.

So Totally Totally Very Big And Bigger

She's caught on to our home improvement routines

She's under the impression that restaurant booths have tires, and for some reason they're always flat

She's overwhelmed by fresh produce

She's taken to back alley shady surgeries

Pizza is a good cure for peeing on the dance floor

Version 12.0 of how to make grocery shopping more insane

Shoe Over The Food, You Bellybutton!

I hate being so far from home at dinner time. It forces us to make bad decisions. This bad decision was in Chinese. Yuula didn't seem to mind.

During dinner her shoe fell off, so I grabbed it from underneath the table and tossed it over the table back to her side of the booth. She scolded me by saying "Don't throw my shoe over the food, You bellybutton!" I think it may the first time the word 'bellybutton' has ever been to used to try and chastise someone.

Then a quick fruit and milk stop at the GIANT. She pushed the cart the whole time and only crashed into 4 displays,  three old ladies and one stack of organic pears. I call it a victory.

Buffet Etiquette

Headed out this evening to get me a new phone. Old one broke. That's a new record, had it for like 6 months without destroying it. Laura insisted on going Best Buy because of their insurance, which is pretty much "break you phone, we give you a new one". Sold. Because I will break it. Galaxy S3 in pebble blue. That mean anything to ya?

We were fresh outta fresh fruits so we headed over to the grocery and sure enough that creature in Laura's belly saw the Chinese buffet sign and had made up its' mind. Yuula was on best behavior...

Emergency Shopping Cart

Who loves to shop?

Too bad the only grocery with these little carts has little incentive to actually shop there
