This Is No Debra
This is our new baby. She is a girl. We are working on a name. We think we have one. It is not Debra.
Or Betsy.

The Most Of The Snow
Good thing Laura isn't 5cm dilated or anything, right?
Judee may have found her limit for snow
I love our new neighbor Tom, even if he does show up 5 minutes after I've already dug out

Spice On, Storm On, Spice Off
We're on high alert over here. Laura is 5cm dilated and I think, for most women, that means you are in the middle of giving birth. Of course, this does not apply to my amber-headed beauty, and she ain't had a single, what one would call, contraction, and for the record, it's starting to piss me off.
We tried the spicy food thing, and during the meal realized that the incoming storm would cause a slight travel complications and immediately ceased the spice inhalation, and by immediately I mean after three more trips up for tikka masala and almost accosting the waiter when they said they were out of rice pudding. AFTER that we did things opposite of what one would if they wanted to expedite the birthing process.
Like wander around an antiques warehouse.
Yeah. It didn't go as planned. What has? WWe moved Yuula doctors appointment to today as well, since the storm was going to interfere with that as well. She was a champ.
See.
(I don't know what the makeup is all about)

Enough To Pinken The Cheeks
We got out in the snow, just long enough to pinken our cheeks and get that sweaty cold feeling that makes ya itch a little. It was enough fresh air to hold us over.
This was right before she said, "Look! I can still button my coat!"
Actually excited to help her father shovel
It's a Trap!
Wrecked
She loves the snow

She's Gone Xtreme
We found a place with bounce houses today, just down the road. Never knew it was there, and apparently neither did anyone else. About 8 kids all together came in during the 3 hours we were there. That's right. I said three hours. Yuula is a maniac.
Apparently being pregnant makes you good at basketball
And being pregnant makes you deem even the most inappropriate place to sit down and kick back acceptable
I wonder how she plans on getting back up

I'ts The Taandori Talking
Apparently Laura dreams of Indian food. And upon waking from said curry dreams, she must fulfill the hole left in her belly with as much basmati as she can fit on her plate. So, just like we did on Friday, today we headed out to Scranton after her appointment to knosh on samosas and makhani. But you won't hear me complaining.
In other news, she' 3cm dilated. Seven to go. The midwife used the term "silent birth". I said, "let's hope so". At this point it looks like this guy will not be a January baby, but I say that with a no intelligent basis on fact or academia. It's the tandoori talking.
