So Totally Totally Very Big And Bigger
She's caught on to our home improvement routines
She's under the impression that restaurant booths have tires, and for some reason they're always flat
She's overwhelmed by fresh produce
She's taken to back alley shady surgeries
Pizza is a good cure for peeing on the dance floor
Version 12.0 of how to make grocery shopping more insane

Seething Bumpers Of Molten Sins
If I had a time machine and ticket to Paris I'd go to le Café de L'Enfer.
You enter thru a demons mouth-hole, with waiters dressed as devils, Satan as the doorman, and damnation on the menu, this place is believed to be one of the first theme restaurants. Not too much is known for sure, but the place seemed to operate from late 19th century to mid 20th in the red light district of Pigalle in Paris, like in Moulin Rouge. They plastered tortured souls on the walls and yelled at you when you entered "Enter and be damned!" It was probably like Medieval Times, only not for pusses.
(would I need the plane ticket if I could time travel? In the movies they seem to travel geographically at will ya know? It's the traveling thru time that is the hurdle)

Her First Friendly's
don't mind the creepy dude in the fedora
I kind of remember Friendly's as a cornerstone of my childhood, so as a reward for her (future) good behavior while we went to the grocery we treated Yuula to a giant chocolate milk and a gummi bear/M&M sundae.
In all fairness her last couple meals have consisted of plain elbow pasta, ham & bean soup, brown rice and plain Cheerios, so she was due a little flare.

Thai Child Care
Yesterday Eric & I went out for lunch. I wanted to take him to the Istanbul Grill but he had a personal road block against Turkish food so we went to the new Thai place up the road called Thai Orchid.
We started with some dumplings and then Eric had 3 appetizers, tofu, cream puffs & shrimp rolls and I had tilapia in sam rot sauce, which by the way is my new favorite sauce. All dishes were served scalding hot, so next time we'll know to take it all in for a couple minutes before we dive in and burn our mouths.
For dessert we had to have the fried honey banana. Holy crap if that didn't top off an already delicious lunch.
But the tasty desserts and blistering entrees aren't the headline here. It's more the staff itself, waitresses, chefs and owners who decided that once we got there it was their job to take care of Yuula. In a very polite and pleading manner each took turns holding her, introducing her to floral arrangements, and carrying her around to the other patrons, all who seemed equally excited to have a baby pawing at their silverware. It was comical really.
And Yuula loved them back. She chose a silver spoon as her toy for the event and every time one hit the floor they brought more to our table. We must've exhausted their entire ladeled supply. They also washed off the squeeze toys she let hit the ground in their hot water sink. That is service.
We will be back.
