Same House That's Open

Yuula had her second open house. I didn't know what to expect. I did not expect the same thing tha I didn't expect last year tho. Baby steps.

She was still cute as hell.

Dancing As A Unicorn

(from October 24th)

Halloween started a whole week early at dance class, where 18 Elsas, a witch and a unicorn took allet and then ate sweets.

Katie And A New Class

Katie gets bored so she caomes and visits us for a little action. This time we gave her cherry pie, an FBI manhunt and a new dance class.

It's a new breed, some fresh faces, and a new Friday night schedule, one that I will not be attending again. See ya in June.

Then we wandered about town avoiding the manhunt in our front yard and got tacos, pizza, ice cream and then a street dancer named Brad who epitomizes the East Stroudsburg experience.

I Don't Do No Dance

I don't go to dance class anymore. Men aren't allowed outside the lobby, which is less than welcoming, so I take those 2 hours to myself this week to do things sans children, like listen to loud music, eat ice cream for breakfast, or sweet sweet sleep.

But from what I hear, Aesop has a good time with the other younger siblings in attendance. I bet he has the coolest t-shirts at the very least.

This weekend the door to the "big girls" room was opened, and the "little girls" were in awe. Some day kiddos.

Any Excuse For Junkfood

I swear these girls have a theme party every week, and bring home buckets of junk food.

Serenity now.

We Know She's Pink

This is it!

This is the costume that Yuula will be wearing in the video we watch the day she leaves for college and cry. We don't know much about the show, except the girls will be all different colored flowers and Yuula is pink.

Hope she likes pink.

Required Open Scheduling

Very few things these days differentiate in any fashion. Sometimes the television programming is the only thing that clues us into what day it might be, but DVR throws a wrench in there as well. Luckily, Yuula's dance teachers must know us well enough to send out friendly reminders that we can set our weekly schedule to. Oddly enough, once dance class let's out, there's nothing on our schedule til next week's dance class. It's a life...

... cuddle time is always on the schedule.

Dance class was canceled on Saturday, but that won't stop these girls...

Show Us How She Been Reaching

Today was about one thing. Luckily. Laura had been so worried that she'd miss Yuula's first "performance" giving birth to that boy in her belly, but he stayed put and cooperated nicely. I'm thinking that will be the last time for awhile.

This is Yuula's dance class. Miss Victoria and Miss Rianna are her teachers and she does love them so

Class started off strong with a little circled up song and dance

They hit the barre hard and with gusto

Think these two are friends?

Yuula got very serious when it was time to display her ballet technique

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed at how seriously she took and that she wasn't shy in front of everyone

Miss Victoria had Yuula up front and center, but I'm not reading into that too much

Across the floors were a little more, how do you say, adventurous? But entertaining nonetheless

Ended ballet with a curtsy

Tap was a welcome, if not for the ears, at least picking up the tempo a little

She put on a little show for us, which is exactly what we came to see

Probably my favorite move of the day

And finish off strong with the choo-choo

Her recital is in June. I honestly can't wait.
