Warm Enough To Walk
Oh my that was the most manic walk around the block I've ever seen. She has truly been cooped up and today she was released into the wild. Good thing no one got in her way. It could have gotten ugly.
And the two buck chuck came along with us, but he didn't come back.

We Weren't In The Neighborhood
Picked up Susie and headed out to Scranton. She had never had the Chicken Makhani at New Amber so, everyone must be initiated. Plus Laura has been dying for a pint of Taj Mahal for 9 months.
Aesop likes the smell of curry. That bodes well.
We went over to see Eileen and she seemed to be doing quite well. We even got her outside, since it was like 60 degrees. We were sweating. This summer's gonna be ugly.

While The Roads Are Open
The weather started to change this week. And fast. It was 34 the other night. The days aren't as bad but, I'm aware that our outdoorsy days are limited. better make the best of it while we're mot under siege.
She did quite well, performing numerous successful K-turns and un-stucking herself with minimal interference. Her biggest issue is that she gets bored with the whole "what where you're going" thing. She can't be bothered really.
We took it all the way around the block and back again.

Was Damn Lovely
I sat at my desk all say. Since about 5am. I hate days like that. But it was supposed to rain so I didn't feel so bad. Until it didn't rain and was damn lovely. But I did get ALOT of work done. And Laura even made me quesadillas for dinner. Yuula had a busy day on the potty, and in the bathtub, for numerous hose-downs. Right now I'm just hoping that if I go downstairs and watch horrible TV with the wife that I'll get a neckrub so I can do it all again tomorrow. Of monotony!

The List Is Ever-Growing
This is as fancy a Friday night as we have nowadays. Little supper, little sitcom, little storytime. Now who knows what. Maybe a movie, that we'll fall asleep to undoubtedly. Maybe I'll cut together all that Easter video I took. Probably not tho. I'm sick of sitting at the computer this week. Maybe I will collect some recipes. It's about time for spring harvest.
But this is a work weekend for us. We have a lot of those. Monday is a day off and it better be damn nice out. We need at least 15 hours in the yard, to start. That's just to scrape the rust off. The list is ever-growing.
Stepping Out Into Outside
oooh.
This may be something to put down on the list of new additions to our future bathroom. The bathroom of which no one knows how far in the future it will exist. Right now, with the weather changing, it may be restricted to only rainy days, which does not bode well for the amount of work that needs to be done.
For now, the new closet is still keeping us busy, and there's a hallway to deal with to boot. We'll see how this goes.
All about the journey right?
Not really.

Oh Good. Squalls.
As in more than one squall?
3 o'clock huh?
Is that long enough to complete my squall preparations?
Me thinks not.

Damn You Icy Conditions
Just me and the girl tonight. Laura got stuck in NJ due to a hazardous driving situation. Better to be safe. Read Yuula a few books and she was ready for night-night. Now I gotta figure out what to do with this time usually reserved for foot rubs and a glass of wine. I may stay up late, watch Game of Thrones and fall asleep on the couch or something. It's like I'm back in my bachelor days. Bachelor days with a baby monitor.

The Clouds Owe Us
Surprise! It's raining again. Or still. I've had a tough time finding time to get outside and clean up the yard. Did mow but grass clippings still litter the yard. Wet clumps of yellowed refuse makes for a welcome atmosphere. And us expected 21-36 people at the house starting Thursday. If it doesn't rain the whole time that is. Weather.com says 82° with a 30% chance of rain, but it's showing a shining sun. Same for Monday. Could get lucky. It rained the day she was born. The clouds owe us one. They owe us a couple.

Still Seek Shelter
Yeah, that's cute, Fawsja's kittens, but I am completely bored with this weather. I know the whole April showers bull, but I'd like to see the sun. It's a miracle we managed to get as far on this garden/shed project as we have with crap constantly falling from the sky. It hailed yesterday! I am not kidding. Ask my Dad. April's usually one of my favorite months, what with birthdays & Easter, Walk Around Day and our anniversary. Lot's to celebrate. But not this year. May flowers can't come fast enough. Hopefully they come at all.

Weather Didn't Get The Memo
I thought we were done with this stuff. I can't tell you how surprised I was this morning when I went over to turn up the fire and caught a glimpse of white mountains on the back deck. We were making such progress with all the melting. And now I gotta go suit up in plastic and get out with the shovel. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but... here's to warmer days.
