This Is Gonna Be A Bull Ride

Slush And Slurry
On any other occasion, we would stay and snug in our beds, take in a few movies, take a few naps, and eat junkfood. But not today. Yuula had dance class, and if she stands any chance of making lead swan, she can never ever miss one. So we suited up and braved the snow.
None of our roads were plowed. The main roads were not plowed. The dance studio heating system had gone out, but we (just happened to) have space heaters in our van. Kiss asses.
Then, after, we had a brief stopover to wear the girls down at the combination Taco Bell/Survival Course. It works every time. And good thing, because it took us an hour to get home from there, when it normally takes about 15 minutes.
Slow and steady.
Slush and slurry.

Oh Good. Squalls.
As in more than one squall?
3 o'clock huh?
Is that long enough to complete my squall preparations?
Me thinks not.

Buggie's A Birthday Girl
Yesterday was Isabella's 2nd birthday. It was hosted by Elmo.
Here's Yuula reluctantly giving Isabella her birthday gift, a fish.
The girls had a blast sliding and rearranging the party decorations.
The real highlight of the party came when one of the adults realized that the Trunks driveway was on quite a steep downhill slope and given the proper vehicle the kids could really pick up some speed going down it. And no it wasn't me. Some of the kids were not too happy being hurled downhill at the bemusement of the surrounding adults. Some thought it was the best thing they'd ever done in their short lives and decided they wanted to do nothing but this for the rest of their days.
Can you guess which one Yuula was?
Then there was the celebratory sugar gorge.
I think everyone had a nice time. I hope Isabella enjoys her fish, Santiago.
Live long and prosper Santiago.

To Bed Out Of Trouble
Early to bed. Yuula slept a lot today so she'll keep us up no doubt. Laura is sleepy and there is nothing on TV. I think we're watching a movie called House Bunny. I can't figure out the plot. Tonight I ripped open a bag of pellets on the front porch, broke a dresser, smashed a glass candy bowl and popped the lid off the stove, all in like 30 seconds. Then I accidentally deleted a bunch of videos Laura took of Yuula the other day but I don't its a huge catastrophe. Pretty sure they were kinda eventless, preemptive footage in case she did something amazing. So I decided to follow the girls upstairs so I can't do any more harm.
