Those dang jackholes sent here by the power company to trim the lines finally got to our house and I less than pleased with the results.

Bless The Rain

Thank goodness it's been raining all morning. I need a little break from the constant sprinkler transitioning. I'm worried our well will run dry. We've got 4 new trees, the budding vegetable garden, 6 transplanted bushes and 4000 transplanted daylillies, everything spread all over the yard that all need intensive water love and keeping up with them has become quite the chore. And now add to that a chunk of lawn with new grass planted. Aye. I gotta go water something.

Finally, after talking and delaying and forgetting and regretting, we planted some trees. One up front and two in the backyard. I wrapped them with chicken wire, set up a perimeter of sorts and hosed them down with deer repellent.

Let's wait and see what happens next.

I'm realizing now that we really lucked out with the weather at Yuula's party. Since it's rained everyday since then I'm thinking we were REALLY lucky. Limbs are still falling from the sky. This would not have been good at the party. This limb was not on the guest list.

We watched the Oprah finale yesterday. It was the first episode I've ever seen.



Going East, Yuula likes compressed air. She prefers fresh air going West.



We just lost power.

Hell yeah fall. Ain't too cold but I'm wearing the sweatpants. Anticipatory sweatpants. But the leaves have flipped, which means rain. Photosynthesis I think. For now I'm stuck on this field but soon I'll be home and warm, in from the rain, eating salad. Then what....?
