Okay, where were we...

 Sunrise, day two

This time we woke up the child, who put up no fight, and dragged out the grands

 Yuula loves a good sunrise, but is not crazy about cold sand

 

This was another blinding sunset for us

And quick

This will be remembered as the morning Yuula peed on a rock

and then we rode....

Avon To Asbury To Avon

The main reason to hit the beach was actually the boardwalk and taking our bikes on it. We can ride til 10am so we had plenty of time to trail from Avon to Asbury and back, with a few detours in between.

Yuula and Laura split this omelet and I had the French toast

when we got back to the car the temperature was 104

Love riding the boardwalk. Thinking about repeating in September when it's a little less 104.

To The Fastest Slide In All The Land

Started it off early this morning with a family bike ride round the back of the neighborhood and across the street to a playground so colorful I'm surprised I never saw it before. Laura makes mental notes of these kinds of things, both playgrounds and my ignorance.

Yuula did not waste anytime testing out the swings and slides. All seemed up to her standard but I think she was partial to the humpty slide off the pirate ship. That sucker can fly. One time we didn't catch her, "let's see what happens", I says. Knee scrapes happen.

But she still had fun. A little walk around the lake and the trip was complete. Now just had to bike back up those hills. Calf workout.
