Daddy, It's For You
I had a glimpse of Yuula as a 14 year old girl today. Laura got her a toy phone to play with and she hasn't put it down in two days. Making phone calls, taking pictures, I think I heard her get in a fight with my Mom's dog Max today. She's very pushy with the camera tho. Now I know how people feel around me. The thing has great sound effects tho. I wonder if she's running on Android or Microsoft. She's not an Apple girl. Unless she can eat it.

Vacation Ending Vows
The events on our last day in Georgia were the initial draw to come south in the first place. Tiffany Luoma, high school friend of Laura, model student of mine, was tying the knot. It just had sweetness stamped all over it.
Spent the reception catching up with Erica and Zink and trying to get Yuula to start a dance party. Results varied.
But they had a photo booth that we of course abused every chance we got.

Meet Emily Nielson, My Phone
I put on the same cardigan everyday, one is green and one is grey. Apparently I'm writing a poem about it. That's not what I'm trying to get to here. Actually I lost my train of thought. I was going to have some grandiose statement about knowing your surroundings and the comfort of routine and how that correlates to what I'm about to tell you I discovered this morning is now lost on me because I decided to rhyme. Anyhow...
Did you know our phones have names!? Me neither. (or) Well why didn't you tell me? I was curious about this so I, while lying in bed went on to find my phones identity. And here she is...
Emily Nielson
In the flesh people, my cell phone personified. Not bad, blonde, blue eyes, looks healthy. I don't see any signs of all those times I dropped "her" and the constant poking hasn't left much in the way of facial bruising so, yeah, I'm pretty pleased with Emily.
Would you like to know the name of your phone? Ok. Go to this facebook page and scroll down to the post about this subject and type in the last 4 digits of your phone number like this:
@*[000:0]
Then go back and remove the asterisk and press enter and VOILA! your phone's moniker revealed. Then a fun thing to do is google your phones name and post it up on facebook or your stupid blog or something. Yay!
Oh, and I'm wearing the grey cardigan today.

That Graveyard Is Cute
It is inexplicable forces at work when a 24 year old girl can find herself 38 weeks pregnant shin deep in a Pocono river dressed like a lion in a nightie keeping the company of a chicken & a Mexican wrestler or find a hidden traincar in the woods filled with delicious tikka masala and eat ice cream made of rocks. But the rice pudding tastes like lysol. It's best told in photos.
