October Outtakes, Part 1
He smiles biggest when Mommy's holding him
Big Bongo Baby Boy
Hopefully she's learning something
Fall kills all
Baby's first stink face?
More ink, and of course, of a unicorn
The gold horn in all its glory
We've got to get rid of all these marshmallows
She got her U's backwards

Christmas In The City, Part Two
Looking for warmth and shelter, and where better but the best Toy store (that I know of) and the only place where you can run on a giant piano
See
And get glitter tattoos
Fraggle Rock is back people
After dinner at Burger Heaven it was a short walk thru the heavy construction at St Pats, and then the main event
Getting up close and personal
Grandma & Grandpa get in on the action
Just the girl and her Mommy
Just a girl and her Daddy
Then I surprised them with tickets to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City and got this one shot pre-curtain, and then enjoyed the rest as if I was a kid again. The girls loved it, even if the final acts were taken in thru exhaustion. Being exhausting was proof of what fun we had. When can we do it again?

Mountain Folk Make Birthday Fun
Seems like I'm always playing catchup as of late. This was quite the week. Start where we left off.. the girl turns three...
We took her and Isabella to the park in the woods, amusement on acid, where the staff is all friendly because they're all family, Knoebels. I'm still not convinced you should pronounce the K.
I guess we came to the right place
This carousel hit 45 mph before the final passengers could buckle up
The cutest helicopter pilots
This gives Laura the heebeegeebees...
...see.
But they were having some fun
Then we gave them more sugar
I'll stick with my extinguisher
Where's the rest of this train?
Daddy's favorite ride
She's got a thing for ferris wheels
And then she got inked
Before we pulled out of the parking lot
Back at home we had cake ready
One step closer to having the credentials to back up those daily checkups
Grandpa can never clock out
So that was her birthday. Her actual birthday. But it was only the beginning of what apparently became a week-long celebration. Don't get used to it girl. You only turn three once.

Boyz 4 Lyfe
Tom & I have been keeping in touch, better than we have in the past 10 years, mostly by sending each other random photos of our daily humdrum in hopes to reconnect on the cellular level. It's working I think.
Today Tom sent me a photo of his arm and the tattoo on it.

I have a similar one, slightly less apocalyptic.

I don't remember the conversation that led us up to getting matching tattoos, nonetheless one of a sword-wielding little pigtailed girl, but it happened and we are forever connected in the ink. Isn't that special?
