Beneath A Marsupial Star

John Lithgow ... A king among men

After this we watched the Trinity Killer episodes of Dexter and Nightmare at 20,000 Feet with her.

She did not sing along to those.

Mr. Falcon Is Profane

Lazy Sundays, what can you do. Giants lost a tough game but Eagles lost an embarassing one so... broke even. Now they play Dinosaur Jr. on the pregame for Jets/Patriots. Weird. Been watching Die Hard 2 in between. They edited the infamous line with "Yippee Ki Yay Mr. Falcon". That was weird too. Laura is almost home. What's in store tonight? Relaxing, Dexter, maybe some nutella on animal crackers. Do it.

Passport Echo From The Snow

Today has been fun. Lots of snow was unexpected. My show day got canceled and we stayed and caught up on some Dexter, that is between the power outages. Mostly we just watched our cable reboot. Snow day,Yuula loves when mom & dad are home, and tater tot casserole, of course it flew by.

Delay In The Pumpkin Seeding

Figures that on the one day we both have the morning off and planned to go pick this season's pumpkin it would be a torrential downpour. That's okay. I have some work to do and Laura has some sleep to do. Maybe we can catch up on some Dexter. Maybe you can look at some photos from the past couple days...

A Year Behind On The Killing

Yes, season 6! New season starts tonight. Of course Laura & I are only on season 5, because we use netflix, or quikster, or whatever they call it now, but when the new season starts, the last season is released onto the intrawebs, so yes season 5.

Shhh, don't tell us what happens.

Trinity Did Me In

P1270356

I had plans to talk about our busy day, construction and baby and so-on, but I'm tired and a little buzzed on cab-sauv (how lame?) and the season 4 finale to Dexter just put us thru it (Laura is crying) so I give you a cutesy photo of Yuula with some dandelions. The rest will have to wait for tomorrow. For now, bottomm of the 9th and Mets are tied with SF 6-6. G'night.

Meeting Weekend Meaning

I had an authentic Saturday today. No work, no errands, no shows, no rehearsals, no travel, no nothing. The snow on the ground kept us indoors so I listened to music, watched some awful alien movie (Skyline) and spent ample quality time making Yuula laugh. Gareth dancing to Dodos is a sure thing. I wish Laura could've been home all day, but we made some delicious seaweed linguini sausage thing for dinner and started season four of Dexter. So far, kinda boring. But John Lithgow is the lurking so.... look forward to that. Tomorrow I plan on having an authentic Sunday so look out.

We Steal Grapes/Pest Past Pist

Productive day. Got a lot done at work (til Dave's computer deleted the files) and thanks to Laura the Christmas decor has been completely removed from house. Twenty bucks we find a Santa statue hiding on a shelf sometime in July. We try. Once that girl has a task in mind there's no stopping her. I just hope someday she doesn't decide that she wants me dead. Dark I know. Probably because we've been watching Dexter every night. I think we're seven episodes in. Pretty good stuff. Hooked I think. Something to hold us over til the new season of Weeds comes out. Even tho the opening credits have Laura convinced we've already seen each episode. It just makes me hungry. I bought a few grapefruits today because of it. Also finally convinced Laura to mix up some pesto for dinner. I dropped a hint with a food processor at Christmas. Tonight it paid off. Delicious garlic/basil chicken with whole grain pesto pasta followed by a handful of pistachios. I'm not making that up. Pesto Pasta Pistachio. Totally accidental. Oh yeah and Laura stole grapes too.
