We met up with the grandparents around 11 and despite the growing humidity and heat and a sleepy baby we hit the Point Pleasant, and tried to spark a little life into Yuula with a nice bowl of ice cream.
It kind of worked.
Then we dragged her over to the rides to see if we could scar her for life a little.
The first attempt was the merry-go-round, but just the bench.
She was horrified but managed to crack a little smile each time we circled around to the familiar old people shouting her name.
Then it was time for a train ride.
Still not crazy about it but maybe it was because of the creepy lifeless penguin that was hitching a ride.
The most successful go around was surprisingly the flying elephants.
She actually cracked a few smiles and maybe even laughed once or twice.
When the elephants came to a halt she yelled 'more!' so we thought we'd give the merry-go-round another go round but this time on horseback.
She was suspect but she survived.
A near catastrophe was averted when I was able to rescue bunny from certain death...
or at least sandy fur.
Grandma and Grandpa took the reigns and we held back for a little breather.
And what better way to finish off a day on the boardwalk than some topless dining.
Everyone else seemed to be doing it.

I really thought we were going to melt that day...whewwww....
but it was nice by the time we sat for lunch...thanks goodness for the ocean breeze that finally showed up....I think if we all weren't so exhausted she would have then enjoyed the rides...since that is when she got her second wind....
the pics I took looked like we were having lunch with Zac Galifz*^@#*...how ever you spell his name...:)
