What do these four things have in common? Seemingly nothing, unless you attended our baby shower this past weekend.
I wrote briefly about it Sunday night, and posted most of the photos, but didn't give the full story. The full story, well, involved a dogfight, a brushfire, beer and booties. Amongst lots of other baby things. Blankets, pacifiers, onesies, the baby's room is beginning to look like Babies R Us. We gotta get on that soon.
But it was a day of many firsts. First time meeting many of Laura's coworkers. First time the yard was presentable. First big party at the house. First time I ate baby food. First time I saw Vic dance. Mostly it was exhausting. But fun. All the hard work was well worth it. Thanks to everyone who came, gifted or whose hands helped. Let's do it again sometime eh?
This sums it up....
I'll have you know, no one was injured in the dogfight, in the brushfire or all the drinking. Are you supposed to have alcohol at a baby shower?
