The Picnic That Never Was

We packed for a picnic, but never quite got there.

Found fun along the way

Ended up at Dansbury pool, which might as well have been closed

Huge pool all to ourselves

So we took it

Perfect Fit Turkey Hat

(from September 7th)

Eileen had a picnic at her rehab and we were invited. Free food? Easy answer. Plus it was a lovely day for a picnic and our baskets were still recovering from last time.

While we waited for Susie Yuula raided the orchard. Cash money. That's a cash money apple.

I like to throw children in scenic environments. What can I say?

First things first; horse rides for the kids. She looks smitten don't she>

Seconds after this photo was taken, the flower disappeared, never to be heard from again.

One of the better group shots I've been party to...

...because he killed this hat!

Mystery Ingredient & Creepy Picnics

Helping Mommy make zucchini bread...

It had a slightly different flavor, I haven't put my finger on it yet.

And her other new obsession is staging picnics. Sometimes they're creepy.

The Reparative Powers Of Running Water

I had bad morning. Computer trouble and the like. Inanimate objects like to drive me crazy. Good thing Laura planned a nice relaxing rivreside picnic for lunch. Let's see if it worked shall we...

Just the relaxation therapy I was looking for. Good job all around. Replace the mouse and back to it.

Showing Off The Wilderness

Yesterday we took the gang to one of our favorite local spots, the Bushkill Falls. A lovely system of staircase intertwine within the natural landscape between rushing waterfalls, frightening forges and serene lakes. We should all go.
