Sweet Dogs And Sweet, Sweet Dogs

A long and tiring weekend ends with a party that we are too old for over at Thomas and Jesse's. Kids and dogs and more 90's radio hits than I heard in all the 90's combined. And a soldification of fact that Yuula needs a new swing.

Sweet dogs over there, but kind of demanding. I must've thrown a slobbery dog toy every five minutes, but no mater how far into the woods I'd chuck it they found it every time

Aesop enjoyed his first party, but was still slept thru most of it.

We were all starving and even Yuula took time out of playing to eat up a hot dog.

Fun neighbors, finally. I'm sure you'll hear more of them.

The Sweetest Wolf

We got her!

And only 24 hours after we thought she was gone.

What a weird couple of days. She's here. Sleeping in Laura's lap. She ate some food, drank a lot, and had a staring contest with Alps fro about 3 hours. She's incredibly sweet and just wants to sit in our laps. She likes a good brush as well. Seems like a good match so far. Still gotta adjust to walking schedules and such, but maybe it'll get me some extra exercise.

We let Yuula name her. At first it was June. Then it switched to Judy. Now we've decided to honor her original name with the double E's and go with Judee. But it may change tomorrow. She don't care.

In coincidence, today, Saturday March 23rd, is National Puppy Day. The day celebration of puppies but more importantly the unofficial holiday was created to raise awareness about puppy mills and all the shelter dogs around the country that need good homes. So... that;s kinda funny.

Stacee With Two E's & Half Bowie Eyes

The reason we found ourselves in a tractor supply shop on Sunday was because we were looking at rescuing a dog. We were drawn to this girl, half husky half wire terrier, almost a year, and even filled out a little application. We are expecting a call to set up a home visit but don't really know how long these things take. She may have been given to another family already. Time will tell. But that name would have to go. She can keep the Bowie eyes.

Reason To Live In New Zealand (Besides The Shire)

The dogs drive!

I don't mind this one bit. I think if dogs could drive us around I'd be more likely to go out and get one. Altho, we should probably get one soon because a driving dog is gonna cost quite a bit more I bet than that adoption fee I saw. Plus I don't wanna hve to spring on doggie driving lessons. Wait a second... Dad... this could be your big break!

Avoid Frustration And Frostbite

Surviving Sandy: Day Five

This was the day we woke up and just got out of the house. Slight frustration and frostbite was setting in but outside was considerably more mild than the past couple of days sooooooo park time!

This slide may have been a little out of her league

This is not a very entertaining race

 Now we're getting somewhere

This is a whole new kind of slide for this girl

Throw in a little Mediterranean see-saw

Roundabout with the big girls and hanging in there too

After the park we headed over to the outlets, which is usually a pretty depressing place. Saw some pretty suite outdoor speakers from the Bose store tho. Now I just need and extra $450.  And Yuula got a free balloon from Hartstrings.

We made an impulsive appointment with our dealership to have our oil changed and tires rotated. Hey it was free, warm and free wifi. Don't judge. Plus Yuula made a new puppy friend and they had staring contests.

Oh, and Yuula got her second free balloon of the day

Why not try for pizza for dinner again tonight, but real pizza please. We actually took the time (because that's all we had) to try and find a legit pizzeria, the best in town, and I really think we did. My mother is watering now just thinking of the delicious sausage and pepper masterpiece that was served to us that night at Pizzaro's. Plus, they had photo hunt!

Thank you Mommy. I love Pizzaro's!

On this night the film choice was The Dictator because it was the only comedy that did not star Adam Sandler of have Madea in the title. But I'm afraid it sucked just as well.

Rub It On Your Feet, Make Sure It's Sweet

This is another one of those moments in my life that five years ago I would never have imagined I'd be experiencing. But life goes on and I'm at a Build-A-Bear stuffing and fluffing and dressing a shaggy dog in dungaree and a hoody. Adorable. I'm gonna need to eat extra greasy food tonight to compensate.
