Yesterday was supposed to be productive, but then it rained. Laura remembered that she needed to get a new photo on her driver's license and that Thursday was a "photo only" day that meant shorter lines. So off we went. On the way back we passed a new antique shop where we bought an antique bread toaster, a couple votives, and a desk for coloring while Yuula made two new friends.
I found something I liked but apparently it wasn't for sale.
This looked familiar.
Then we stopped for lunch at the new Mediterranean place. Quaint, limited seating, and the baklava was not top shelf, but it will do for now.
Passed by the record store as is tradition and Yuula felt compelled to perform for the staff and customers. It must happen quite often because no one batted an eye.
I never did see that new license.

What a little Sweetheart!
My Mom had that book growing up... it's still on her bookcase. I always thought it was like a 70's cult bible.
