Fare Thee Well, Sparkle Motion
So we sold Sparkle Motion Emerald Pearl.
Here we are, enjoying one last.... stand in the driveway. That's all I could do, because the damn thing hasn't run in over a year.
But it's gone, thank heathens. Some dude came and towed it when we were out over the weekend and when we came home this was all that was left...
Like it materialized.
I'm having a hard enough time with it as it is.

Swing Weather's Almost Buhbye
we don't know how much longer we'll be able to do this
it's getting colder, but not enough to wear shoes
it's getting colder, fast
and it's making Yuula sad

Here Lies The Pancakes
My sister sent me this photo as she drove towards/away from Philly the other day.
I cried a single syrup-y tear, knowing that I'll ever eat another Olga's pancake.

Bad News Buttermilks
Last night after Mom & Dad left we took a walk down to give a gift to our neighbors who just had a baby girl last month. We got caught up chatting up some potential new neighbors along the way but managed to make it over just as Peter and Matthew, their oldest, was finishing up a game of Kick the Ball and Make Noise. Love that game. They invited us in and we met lovely little Victoria, who slept thru the entire visit, but we barely noticed after Peter started popping corks and giving us the best seats in the house. Yuula and Matthew played cautiously on the back deck while we caught up with the Buttermilks (their last name translated from Polish) and we learned that they'd be moving to Chicago in the next couple weeks. Sad news as we just finally were getting to know them and enjoy them as neighbors. We'll have to have them over sometime for a little cookout before they move on. Good luck Buttermilks. I've enjoyed your pancakes.

The Danger In Walking
I took her for a walk last night...
it started out great...
many cat joined us...
then we met a raccoon who had been attacked by a porcupine...
Yuula got scared and sad...
she decided the walk was no longer fun...
so we ran home.
the end
