I'll Hear Ya
big day for new release news...
First is the new Sigur Rós album Kveikur, which is surprising considering their last album came out last May. They usually take awhile to brew, so who knows what's going on here. Uncontrollable artistry or toss-offs from the last album. This doesn't seem like a toss-off.
First new Travis in a long while. No title or release date yet but they did put out the schmancy VHS video single.
Then The National and Deerhunter almost back to back in May. No videos, just cover art, but sometimes that's just as good.
sometimes.

While We're Talking National-ity
I wasn't done. Great song. Strange video. Awkward/sexy dancing, grown man lying in an open field, seeming to forget lyrics... dud didn't you pent his tune? Ha. And is that a lady coat? You be the judge...
Last Week On Venom Television
A track off one of this year's best new. Not the song I woulda picked but, I ain't in the National now am I. I've been listening to this album at least once a day the past week. And yes that is John Lennon on drum.
