Thanks To Nawad And The Distance Of The West Coast

In the 1800's thousands of people moved west for the fertile land, to build railroads and for the promise of free gold. Nowadays people move west for the weather, and the free gold stays here. That's where we capitalize.

Laura scouted it out and I laid out the deal. An $800 set for a single bill. That's how we do.

Shielding You From The Doldrums

After talking with my father today, I realized that I've been neglecting the writings the past few days. To be honest, we've just been that boring. As most of the headlines that pop up here must seem pretty trivial to most, the past few days may represent an all time low. Wanna see?

We have a trip to Ohio planned for this weekend and Laura's cousin Carrie just had a little baby girl, so we gathered all the clothes Yuula's grown out of from the storage unit and repacked them to be passed down, some for the 3rd time.

Looking forward to Yuula's first birthday party and assembling a guest list, we became slightly concerned with our ability to seat 50+ people in our backyard. The search for seating, preferably cheap (preferably free) was on. We found a pretty nice glass table with 5 metal chairs just around the corner and Laura rolled out the charm to get a deal on this metal rocker.

The garden may be bearing fruit, or vegetables at least. I spotted this little guy yesterday, which is good to see after the plant was exposed to some questionable neighbors and transplanted just last week. The rhubarb are kicking too, seeming to double every time I go out there. Delicious.

See? Boring.
