What's A Cowgill?

I am to understand that yesterday was also opening day. Hard to get excited about a game versus the Padres, but also hard to get excited when you're a Mets fan period. I went to the bathroom at lunch and actually caught the first run of the year, scored by Buck I think off a Tejada single. Then after we ate and came back to play some photo hunt I saw the 7-2 gap and was content. Seems like I missed some action, but I'll have 161 more chances.

Over .500 For Now

I will take a 1-0 win over the Braves on opening day. This may be the only chance they get to be over .500 this season. Projected to lose far more games than they'll win, this is not going to be a fun season to be a Mets fan. Let's see how far that Super Bowl win can get me thru the summer before I take up knitting.
