I Want A Personal Sunrise

When I build my very own home, this is the only thing that'll help me see...

Seven Times Liter Than Air

Chinese material scientists have created the world’s lightest material: A graphene aerogel that is seven times lighter than air, and 12% lighter than the previous record holder. A cubic centimeter of the graphene aerogel weighs just 0.16 milligrams — or, if you’re having a problem conceptualizing that, a cubic meter weighs just 160 grams. The graphene aerogel is so light that an cube inch of the stuff can be balanced on a blade of grass, the stamen of a flower, or the fluffy seed head of a dandelion.

soooooooooooooo.... now what?

I guess Nike can make even liter trainers that I won't buy

Don't Cross Your Sauces

What are we looking at here? A nice platter of spaghetti, topped with some delicious tomato sauce and sprinkled with parmesan cheese?

Nope.

That there is not the main course but in fact, the dessert. Spaghetti-shaped ice cream covered in strawberry sauce and coconut flakes. Sounds frigin delicious I know, but I don't know why I need the disguise. Is this so kids can fool their parents that they're somehow eating a healthy Italian meal while in fact they're devouring 2 pounds of vanilla noodles? They gotta eat it fast too because once those noodles start melting the jig is up fools.

Apparently some weirdo invented this machine back in the 60's, called the Spaghettieis, to do just this. It is all the rage in Germany. So is David Hasselhoff. Apparently now you can find it at some gelaterias and specialty ice cream parlors, at special events and at some hotels and restaurants around the world. I hope I never come across it because I will be forced to order one and I think regular spaghetti will be ruined for me, forever. And maybe ice cream as well. I like my frozen treats in clump form. I've never embraced the dippin' dots and I rarely even partake in an icepop on a stick of any sort. Just dump it in a bowl and let the heat have its way with it. Don't mess with perfection.

Jersey Wants Your Phone Number

Generating power has been a large topic of conversation the past couple weeks here in the tri-state area, a top hashtag for you young viewers. I saw this article yesterday during my daily lunch browsing and thought some of us occasionally less fortunate would be quite interested. I don't mind dropping a couple hundred on a generator once, it's the couple hundred on gas just to keep my frozen meats and milk fresh that I protest.

check it...

According to The Next Web’s Emil Protalinski, the urine-powered generator — which can turn one liter of urine into six hours of electricity — works like this.
  • Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which cracks the urea into nitrogen, water, and hydrogen.
  • The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.
  • The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.
  • This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.

Solves the problem of not having a place to put your pee during power outages, too. Two birds!

Sifted And Seeded

The rocks were too bountiful. I needed to invent a solution.

The Sifter 9000

9000 because that's the number of rocks I had to move. I counted them. And now there's only 100 or so. We had to move on. But now seed is down and...

TwoDaLoo

We are so getting one of these!
The headline reads "A Supertoilet That Saves Rocky Marriages and The Planet!". The TwoDaLoo is billed as the world's first toilet two people can use ... at the exact same time! It brings couples closer together and conserves our water supply all with one flush. The TwoDaLoo features two side-by-side toilet seats with a modest privacy wall in between. An upgraded version includes a seven inch LCD television and iPod docking station.

My only question would be... does it come in a forest green?
