Garbanzo Bean Baby Birthday

I have been to more birthday parties in the past six months than my entire childhood combined. And I can't believe it's Friday, nonetheless July. Summer is gone too fast and, for the first time, I want it to stay.

Tonight Claire had her first birthday party, Yuula ate more than her fair share of garbanzo beans and Flora's neighbor made a mean chicken curry salad. Secret ingredient: grapes.

I am tired. It's been a long week and watching a Simon & Garfunkel documentary sure beats watching the Mets lose to the Yankees.
