Not A Damn Thing
Well, I didn't get anything right last night. Not a damn thing. That Giants game was an abomination. Manning missed every receiver on the field. That's gotta be some kinda record. And the secondary should have stayed on the sidelines because they may have stopped them just as well from the bench. Dreadful. The only thing that made it worth watching was how funny it was that Kenny Albert was dressed up like Sloth from the Goonies for Halloween. What? Wait... what's that? ..........that's just how he looks? ....that's his face? Oh. .....wow...
It was fun to see Lidge's nightmare come true in the 9th last night tho. Keep whining about cameras Phillies fans. We'll listen when Ryan Howard learns how to touch home plate and you guys don't get beat by your own shift. I expect Rodriguez to be hit at every at bat on the first pitch tonight. They have no other option. He's beat them in every game. And I know yesterday I said I wanted it to go 7, but let's just shut the door tonight. How great would it be to hand the Phillies their tickets home in their own stadium, shut those guys up for a couple months. Don't worry Hamels. It's almost over so you can go home soon. I'm sure I'll eat those words.
On an up note, I listened to the new Weezer album yesterday. Not as awful as it could've been, what with an album title of Radititude and songs called "I'm Your Daddy", "The Girl Got Hot", "Can't Stop Partying", "In The Mall", "Let It All Hang Out", and God help us all, "Love Is The Answer". It's actually not a terrible listen. Don't expect anything even near the Weezer of the 90's. These guys don't anything in common with who they were 15 years ago. Not a damn thing.

Scheduling Red Sweatpants Sunday
12:55 pm -
Slip into my new red sweatpants.
Prediction - I will be cozy & warm.
1:00 pm - Giants at Eagles
A division game between the 5-2 Giants and the 4-2 Eagles for 1st place in the NFC north... Why would I miss this? Actually this is the first chance I'm getting all season to see a Giants game beginning to end and I am planning on doing just that. Giants really need a win after their last two losses, and where better to do it than Philly. We can't lose to both the baseball & football teams can we? Man, I gotta work with these Philly fans. And they are not nice people.
Predicition - NYG: 34, PHI: 27
4:15 pm - Vikings at Green Bay
Another division game of 1 vs 2, could tip the tables away from Minnesota but the real reason this is a must see is, of course, Favre's inevitable return to Lambeau as the enemy. This is the only reason he's still playing. He wants to show his old team that let him go that he's still the man. And I hope they pummel his ass. I hope that GB defensive line eats him for dinner.
Prediction - MIN: 3, GB: 45
8:20 pm - Yankees at Phillies, World Series Game 4
After all the hoopla of game 3 with cameras on the field (seriously what are the chances Rodriguez hits the frigin camera!?!) and the incompetence of Cole "Tool" Hamels underestimating Andy Pettitte at the plate (haha) game 4 promises to be another intriguing evening of contention. To be honest I hope the Phillies win tonight, even it up, and keep this series going into game 7. Mainly because then I can watch it Thursday night and I won't be home Tuesday & Wednesday.

You're Kissing Chase Utley And That's It

Only caught a few innings of the game last night due to rehearsal, driving thru woods with no station reception and then falling asleep, but I did manage to catch both of Chase Utley's homeruns. That's just ridiculous. I will admit I was pulling for the Yankees as of gametime last night, but after last night's game, YIKES! Good luck Yankee fans. They looked bad, and if you ask me, they blew their only shot at an easy win. So the Mets fan in me dies a little today when I say, man Chase Utley and the Phillies are a good team.

Lucky Ducks
I was worried. Regardless that the Phillies have dominated this World Series, I'd at least like to see a full game played, especially if it's the deciding game of the season. So, luckily, thru all the rain and wind and fly ball error the Rays managed to tie the game just as the umps decided to make the only good call of the night and postpone the game, which then became suspended. If Upton had not stolen that base, despite Hamels 5 throws over to hold him at first, and scored on the single by Pena tying the game the World Series would have ended in the 6 th inning. I think a lot of people would have been upset over that. But not the case. So let's hope the sun shines enough today for a few innings.
