We didn't watch the Oscars, per se, but man this is totally worth all the hubbub and nonsense. Butchering Idina Menzel's name made everyone ignore how terrible her performance was. I have been laughing about this all day long, and I don't feel bad. Danny Zuko was a generation ago. This man is a joke...

Buzzfeed put out a list of other names Travolta would have butchered, my favorites being Brat Spit, Lisa Manila Envelope, Merl Sterp, Lunesta Knee-Congo, Bento Tinderbox, and of course Leonart DiCamry. I'm peeing myself again.

8 Films In 6 Weeks

The nominations for Oscars came out this morning. This is something I usually pay attention to the morning after the awards are over, and then I talk for over a year about all the films I'm told I should see. The past couple winners still haven't made it to a screen in my general vicinity. Maybe this year we try the other way around and see all the films, at least up for best picture. There's eight right? We've seen exactly none of them. When are the awards.... February 24th. That gives us about 6 weeks. We can do it.
