If The Count Is Even It's Time To Dance

I learned something tonight as I watched the Mets game. I need to watch with the volume off or I will never make it thru a game without being prompted to turn on the dance music station.

I also learned that the Mets can really get those pitchers deep into the count, usually falling on 2-2 somewhere along the way, and every time Keith, Gary or Ron utter the phrase 2-2 Yuula goes and grabs her tutu and insists that they were talking to her. So we dance.

I can watch a little on that picture in picture thing, but when she's shaking a good tail feather it's hard to not gawk in awe. I'll catch the recap after she goes night-night.

PS - Mets crushed Philly 11-1

Taking Notes On Steps

She's going to have to fill her mother in when she gets home. It's hard to tell who was her favorite because she clapped for them all. She clapped for a few commercials too, but when I changed the channel to the Mets game, even for a split second to check the score she turned and gave me a look I'm all too familiar with. Next baby is a boy.

First Of May

Did you know that Hitler was announced dead On May 1st, 1945?

Hard to miss the headlines today. Even last night watching the Mets/Phillies game and the sudden, mysteriously growing chant of USA from the crowd seemed to confuse the players. Camera shots of breaking news reports on cellphone screens and an immediate and unusual conversation shift from stats to military operations, I ended up switched to a real news station to watch the speech. Heard Obama interrupted Trumps beloved TV show with the announcement. Classy. Facebook blows up with precision patriotism and elegantly photoshopped art (see above). From the royal wedding to the death of a villain, so ends a Disney week. Back to it. The Mets won in 14 innings.
