We are spending a good bit of time just on the warpath of tidying up the yard so far this thawing season. Not much planted, not much made. I guess the approach is to function in order this summer, rather than chaos. It'll never work.
Wednesday was spent doing little oddjobs and one-offs that constantly get overlooked because of their seeming insignificance. Poor oddjobs.
But it does feel good to spend an entire day crossing many things off a list instead of just kind of taking a bite out of one.
and carrots.
We made a trip out in the middle of the day to the recycling dumping place. It was a haven for garbage pickers like us, but we also had to get rid of all that metal that came from tearing down the doghouse last summer. We took bets on how much money we'd make from it. Laura said $20. I said $34. We both busted. $17. So what do you do with $17 cash?
What else...
Anybody got any scrap metal?
