I couldn't figure out the title...
Yay Cherry Valley Day Festival at our very own CSA! We already know how to get there! And really isn't that half the battle?. It's a lovely little affair really with some very inspiring vendors, live music and frigin delicious food. My salmon/feta burger alone was worth the tent of fungi and lichens and the woman who smelled like cat food pushing psychic teas on us. We heard some educational speakers on how to properly tend to your yard to safely lure all kinds of birds to your yard. We tasted food from a woman who gives organic cooking classes from her home. We may do that. The strawberry chili wasn't Laura's favorite but I could eat zucchini pancakes and rhubarb applesauce muffins all day. We heard some tunes from the Rambling String Band (or something like that). We bought some "ugly" soap and played in a yurt. What more can you really ask for?
Yuula listens about birds as she houses a dog
these soaps may be "ugly" but they smell not ugly
Yuula had some redecorating ideas to help boost sales... throw the soaps on the ground
quite pleasing and mood altering
long trek back to the car
look Yuula, we're gonna eat that
expending her last ounce of energy before getting back in the car
Nice day. Ran into Gary, Flora, Andy & Claire and caught up on what those guys are up to. Laura tried seltzer for the first time (not a fan). Saw my new organic farmer buddy and his son. And learned about some cool spots to visit in and around the valleys of Stroudsburg. We'll be back again.
