I'm home, for the moment. Actually landed this morning round 9, and thru the traffic Laura still had a flawless pickup. We wrestled down 78 and got breakfast at the Roxbury. That had the opporunity to become a tradition. Had.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. I only have an hour to shower, repack and head out again so, you'll get Friday night. Let's see, let's see...
I had a late night flight, 9:30, mainly because the car is in the shop and Laura had to drop me off after she got off at 5, so we had some time to kill there. The Roxbury mall is on the way and has lots of time wasting elements so... the mall on Friday night, it's like I'm 15 again.
We ate first because we were starving. The mall food court is a brilliant invention. I had Sbarro's or some bastardized version of it's chicken stromboli and Laura had Wendy's, mainly for the frosty & fries.
We hit up a few shops, like the gourmet cooking store, where we bought a discount Christmas bowl, apple butter & peach chutney. Now I gotta make some pancakes.
Laura took the opportunity to search for some new work shoes. She goes thru shoes like a thoroughbred, and even tho I could really use some sneakers that don't smell like gouda I felt it most productive to sit and do nothing.
We still had an hour to kill and nothing in this gigantic building seemed to interest us so we hit the Brookstone and took naps in the massage chairs.
I wonder what the breaking point is for the Brookstone employee and people sitting in those things. "We're seriously thinking about buying these".
