I'm a Mets fan, but I;m not necessarily a Yankee hater. I'm indifferent towards them actually. Almost as if they were involved in a different activity, which some seasons, is not far from reality.
But this kind of stuff will get me every time.
Also, this is the most baseball I've watched all year.
Lending A Ride And Some Fries
Went out to Scranton with Suzie on Wednesday to visit Eileen. I think we gave her some peace of mind, or at least some company. Things are stabilized(ing) so the mood was lite. We didn't get in to see Eileen, but hopefully she could hear Yuula giggling from the waiting room.
Next time.
And there will be a next time, because the hospital gift shop is the only place to get this little gem.

Consider The Squalor
We considered the squalor we were living in and decided it was time to act. When it started to rain yesterday we locked ourselves inside and, for maybe the 15th time since we've owned the home, we re-worked our bedroom. It was probably the only way we could motivate ourselves to actually clean the place up.
It worked.

I Was Covered By Mace

I listened to two very good, very different albums today, back to back, but it worked.
It's A Line That's Always Running
Tyler and Dylan came up, one to help me do a brake job, the other to run in the backyard and scream.
Guess which did which.

Yuula, as usual, was a bad example
The Brown Death Stinks
The cupboards are low, so the other night I got a little creative, and threw some curry paste, black beans, turmeric, stewed tomatoes, and a few other mystery ingredients (I can't give away my culinary secrets) in with the chicken and Yuula and I ate it up. I called it the Brown Death. It was a little spicy but she scarfed it right down and chased it with some milk. No problem, right?
Fast forward an hour later to storytime, where she tried to gas me out of the place. She thought it was hilarious so.... beans.
Logos I Go For
This dude Max O'Brien redesigned all the NFL team logos, and I gotta say, some of them are way better than the ones they're using now. I will take that Giants logo any day, and the I really like Jets, Browns, and the 49ers too. Classy.
While The Roads Are Open
The weather started to change this week. And fast. It was 34 the other night. The days aren't as bad but, I'm aware that our outdoorsy days are limited. better make the best of it while we're mot under siege.
She did quite well, performing numerous successful K-turns and un-stucking herself with minimal interference. Her biggest issue is that she gets bored with the whole "what where you're going" thing. She can't be bothered really.
We took it all the way around the block and back again.
